  You are cordially invited to participate in the 9th International Conference on Thermal Energy Storage that will be held at the Main Building of Warsaw University of Technology, Warsaw, POLAND from September 1^st to September 4^th, 2003. The co-organizers of the conference are Warsaw University of Technology, International Energy Agency, Polish State Committee for Scientific Research, Ministry of Education, Polish Academy of Sciences - Committee of Thermodynamics and Combustion, The Polish National Energy Conservation Agency and Academy of Technology & Economics.

This conference is the 9th in the series of International Conferences on Thermal Energy Storage, first held in Seattle in 1981 and successively in Stockholm, Toronto, Versailles, Scheveningen, Espoo, Sapporo and Stuttgart.

The program for the FUTURESTOCK 2003 will include presentations of the latest scientific research, professional practice and individual experiences, invited lectures presented by international experts; contributed lectures, posters presentations and roundtable discussions in the field of energy conservation through energy storage concerning economic and environmental benefits of reducing greenhouse gas emissions.

It will be a genuine opportunity to discuss topics of primary importance for the international community of all professionals (experimental and theoretical researchers, engineers, and those in industry and administration) who are active in the areas of thermal energy storage science and engineering and contribute to the promotion and improvement of international cooperation.
